Volunteers Needed to Assist with Visiting Afghan Women in October

In October 2008, 12 Afghan businesswomen who are part of the Bpeace program will be apprenticing on the job at American firms. We are lining up volunteers to help make their experience in the US a wonderful and productive one.

CHAPERONES--Volunteers to guide the Associates to their New York City appointments and taking them sightseeing and shopping. The NYC dates are October 11-29. Sign-up now

HUGS HELLO AND GOODBYE--Volunteers who will go to the airport to greet Associates upon their arrival and say goodbye upon their departure. October 12-13 and 29. Sign-up now

PHOTOGRAPHERS--Volunteer photographers in NYC and other areas (Maine, Pennsylvania, San Francisco area). Dates are October 11-29. Sign-up now

INTERPRETERS--We are looking for Dari/Farsi-English speakers who are able to travel with Associates to their host companies. Ideally, we would like to have one or two interpreters travel with each group for the entire trip. Dates are October 11-29. Sign-up now

PR PROFESSIONALS--A PR professional who can create and execute a PR plan and media coverage for the Afghan Associates' visit. Sign-up now
